A Beautiful Sliding door and Siding Makeover
Sometimes it only takes a few thoughtful upgrades to completely transform a home's exterior- and that is exactly what we achieved with this project. With the outdated siding and inefficient sliding door setup, this home was due for a refresh. The result? A clean, cohesive and stylish upgrade that balance beauty and practicality.
BEFORE:
The original back entrance featured a smaller sliding door flanked by two stationary windows- a setup that not only limited the functional space but also disrupted the visual flow of the rear elevation. Combined with aging white siding and worn-out trim, the overall design looked dated.
THE TRANSFORMATION: Bigger, Better and Built to Last
This drafty old sliding door was replaced with a patio door with four full length panels, requiring expert removal of the brickwork below the windows to extend the opening for two additional panels. The result is a sleek, full width sliding door that feels more open, more functional and visually more balanced with the rest of the house.
In addition to the new siding and patio door, we also installed a completely new eavestrough, soffit and fascia system that gives the home a sharp, finished look that ties the entire exterior together.
