Grilles

Window grilles are aluminum bars that run vertically and horizontally in or along window panes to create the illusion of multiple small square panes of glass. Grilles add texture to an exterior facade without compromising the tight seal of the glass. For easy to clean grilles, they can be either removeable or they can be installed between two panes of window glass. We also offer a more traditional style of window grille called Simulated Divided Lite. Encore Handles

Encore Truth hardware is the top of the line when it comes to window hardware. Available in multiple style and colour options, with Encore Truth Hardware you can be assured you are getting the best security and the best functionality possible. Tinted Glass

Tinted glass is an energy efficient glass option that also provides you with daytime privacy. During the day tinted glass controls glare from the sun and reflects it outwards, which greatly reduces visibility from the exterior. Available in gray or bronze, tinted vinyl windows are a great modern accent for any home.

Climate Specialized

We know Barrie, and we know what kind of temperatures the winter brings. We are proud to offer a selection of cost effective Low-E glass options for our clients in the greater Barrie area. Energy Advantage Low-E glass has a high Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) which absorbs and reflects the sun’s heat. A benefit in the summer, it reflects heat outwards and keeps your house cool. In the winter Low-E glass reflects your furnace’s heat back into a room, reducing heat loss and keeping your costs low.

Obscure or Privacy Glass

Awning windows are great for basements because of the air circulation they enable. Basement windows are often good places to install privacy glass, which provides permanent privacy regardless of interior or exterior lighting. We offer privacy glass in three textures including frosted, glue chip and satin.

Double Glazing

One other way Weaver is helping to reduce your heating costs is by offering our clients double glazed windows. Unlike standard single pane windows, double glazed vinyl windows have an extra pane of glass for insulated protection that prevents condensation and heat loss. Double glazed windows offer a layer of added protection against the extreme cold temperatures of Barrie winters.

Argon or Krypton Gas Filled

Argon and Krypton are gas insulators that are sealed between panes of glass to reduce thermal heat transfer. These odourless and colourless gases are dense enough that they move slowly between the panes of glass and mitigate heat loss and heat gain. Are my windows custom size?

At Weaver we construct every window to your specific dimensions and preferences. So in a way, there are no “standard dimensions” and every window is custom. The only thing that’s standard is high quality.

How long will the window be missing after you take the old one out?

Typically it takes 5 minutes from the time the old window is removed and the new one is installed. After the insulation is secured around the new window, your nest is protected from the outside elements.

Can you replace my brick window sills without my window falling out?

Yes we can! The needed masonry work can be done under your existing window or door because windows and doors are actually fastened to the frame of your house, not the masonry. It's important however to keep an eye on the bricks around your doors and windows, as loose bricks are a safety concern.

How does the consultation process work?

After you request a quote from Weaver, one of our sales consultants will schedule a call with you to discuss your project. Following that, we conduct an on-site visit at your convenience, to assess the full scope of your needs and the project itself. Once we digest all the details from our visit, we develop and send you a custom proposal, explaining how we plan to get the job done right.

There were some communication problems and a long delay between our down payment and work being started, although it was a very rainy summer. In the strong winds we've had recently one piece of siding came loose. My Weaver Exterior experience began with Sales Consultant Brett Harvey. He explained my eaves trough needs and solutions to issues I was currently having. Brett explained and had a sample with him which he explained in detail. Warranty was explained. He completed all measurements and provided an estimate within a timely manner. Work crew was excellent. They are no nonsense workers. Old eaves trough was torn down without damaging the house. New eaves trough was installed. Clean up by the crew was exceptional. Initially I had posted a negative review as had a less than ideal experience with a sales rep that came to my home, but it was quickly rectified. Jesse Dinan (owner) gave me a call personally to apologize and sent out Brett (a different rep) to re-visit and he was outstanding. Have decided to move forward with Weaver as all of their reviews have been great as has been my experience thus far in dealing with Brett. Will update my review once work is completed (new siding with foam board insulation), but excited to work with them as saving me yet another DIY project at a reasonable price (better than their competitors), and they have have followed through to this point with professionalism and a customer centric attitude. As a business owner myself, I can tell you that it is inevitable that you will have a dissatisfied customer (or prospective customer such as myself), but it is how you handle it that counts most. Highly recommend giving them a call and not bothering to shop around at this point in my experience.Update- Our project is complete and couldn’t be happier with results and the crew (Norm and Eric). They showed up early and worked diligently until the end of the day (my experience has been many contractors look for reasons to cut days short, but not these guys). The pride and attention to detail in their work is evident and they were very pleasant with to work with. They always cleaned up at the end of the day, kept on track until complete, and clearly had the experience/skill to make our home look amazing. Great company to work with. We cut two new windows and extended a third for a legal secondary suite. They worked with us and had to come back to finish the job to allow our mason to finish his bit - which they did without complaint. We weren't around during the final part but they did a great job and the finished product is solid. We especially appreciate the extra attention they paid to the window we had extended - they smoothed out the rough edges of the concrete sill and now it looks finished...with nothing left for us to do! We hired Weaver for a front entry makeover. My front door was typical builder grade and added nothing to the front of my home. From the initial consultation with Jesse to the final installation, Weaver was nothing less than exceptional. Garth and Jesse helped guide in me in the right direction to make the most impact and best first impression my home could make. I never felt as thought they were “up-selling” me or attempting to make me go above my budget. The door arrived on time and was installed by a very professional crew. (They even allowed my curious dogs in on the installation) I have recommended Weaver to my friends and family, and even had them install a new double door entry for my mothers home immediately following my installation. My home now has the uniqueness I was looking for. The front entrance really sets the tone for your home, and I would not trust this first impression to anyone other than Weaver and the Dinan Brothers.

Professional service. Brent gave a thorough assessment of the crumbling interior wall in my basement and gave an accurate estimate of the time it would take to complete. The workers fixed and re-parged the wall so that it looks like new and fixed a few spots on adjacent walls too. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. Total cost was just under $2000.

We had Weaver replace the eavestrough and downspouts on our century home as well as wrap the exterior window sills with aluminum. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the flexibility with adjusting the quote when we added and took away portions of the job at the last minute. The installer was friendly and also a great help with his suggestions for the downspouts. The installer also informed us of a problem with a small portion of our roof which we were unaware of and fixed it. We have a very tall house and much appreciated that he fixed the problem while he had the ladder up! Good job!

We had to replace only 2 windows but the professionalism and attention to detail was just as good as if we were doing 30 windows. We had some special requirements with resizing and moving our windows and it was handled as if it was a perfectly normal request. The Weaver staff were very accommodating to our needs. I had contacted this company as I wanted to replace the house windows for the first time. I was unsure of many things and contacted them online for a quote. They got back to me within a few hours I think. Sadly, I wasn't able to use them as I live outside of their service area. But! Even after we realized I was outside of their area, they continued to help me and answer my basic questions about what to look for in windows, basic cost range etc. The lady was very cheerful and helpful and I'm sad I couldn't use them. While I can't comment on their actual work, but their customer service is amazing!

Weaver removed our old faded siding and replaced it with new vinyl siding. They also replaced damaged and worn eavestroughs, soffit, and fascia.Andrew and Rob were terrific! The work was carefully completed with much attention to detail. When the old siding came off and problems with the sheathing beneath became evident, they presented us with options that would ensure the job was completed in the best possible way. Our house now looks fresh and more contemporary.Working with Weaver on this project has been a great experience. Since completing the project, they have been very quick to follow up with some minor adjustments. They truly stand by their work.

Work was completed in one day even though the day they came to do the job was a little chilly, it didn't seem to phase them. We are very pleased with the work and professionalism Weaver Exterior Remodeling provided us with our new windows and siding. Our initial request was to replace our windows, patio door and front entry door, however, we called them again for an additional quote to also replace our siding. We were given excellent service right from Brianne in sales, to the installation team and customer service. One of the owners, Garth, even came to the house to discuss an issue that I had raised. He took the time to explain it to me and offered me an alternate option. John was exceptional with our windows. His attention to detail was outstanding and we still can't believe he managed to replace all of our windows by himself, even with the heavy patio door. John must wear an invisible superhero cape! The siding team were also very efficient. Hank, Elliott and Matt worked very well as a team and were thorough in the installation. They also quickly dealt with an area of rot on the house, which had to be repaired. They were so easy to work with. The project manager, Rob, also made sure to keep us advised on the progress of our project and kept us in the loop when the project had to be slightly delayed due to weather. Customer Service/Office staff Victoria and Kim were also amazing to deal with in handling our calls, emails and billing. Overall, I would certainly recommend Weaver Exterior Remodeling for any of your projects! Not only are the staff amazing but the products are of high quality.

I had Weaver's replace a custom sized window in my house. The sales person, the person who came to do the measuring and the installers were all fantastic to deal with. I also spoke to the customer service staff and they were very helpful as well. The installation of the window didn't take very long at all and there was no mess to clean up after they left. I will say that the window took awhile to arrive but, that was not this company's issue. It was a slowdown at the manufacturers level due to covid-19 restrictions. I would highly recommend using this company based on my experience.

We had old siding removed and replaced with new board and batten vinyl siding on the front of our house. They managed to get the job done on time in spite of the pandemic and others telling us that they could not get supplies until the Fall. The job was well done within a few days and all old materials were removed. The workers were very pleasant to deal with. Having the remainder of all our windows done this year by weaver was overall a pleasant experience. Sales staff that provided the quote were easy to deal with. What an amazing company & people to have work on your home. I had insulation, new siding, eaves, soffits, etc. installed on my house in late July, 2021. From the salesperson, Nicholas, to the team lead Rob, who organized the time & date that the crew would be coming to start the work, to the Admin Support, Valerie & Kim.The crew of Hank, Elliott, & Charlie were terrific. All were very efficient, polite, and respectful & at the end of every day cleaned up perfectly. They came to work, rain or shine, with a smile & a good morning. It was so nice to hear them laughing & chatting with each other when they worked, very happy guys. Whenever I had questions Hank, the senior guy of the crew, was there to explain to the full extent. When we ran into a little trouble with reattaching my hydro meter, Hank was there to save the day. He explained to Hydro 1 how he could reattach the meter so it wouldn’t be hanging away from the wall, Hydro 1 approved and all was good.Another crew, Norm & Charlie, were working on a house near me & with arrangements through Rob, they came back to my house, after finishing their job at the other site, to secure my gas meter & air conditioning fuse box to the wall. Rob went the extra mile to find a vent for my soffit & Norm installed that too, Hooray!!!I have had many compliments on how great my house looks. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I would highly recommend Weaver to anyone, which I did to one of my neighbours & he had work done on his house as well. Fantastic job everyone.

From the free quote with Jesse to the end of the process with Shane, the entire team was fantastic!! We had about 5 other window companies come to quote and out of them all we are more then glad we chose to work with weaver. They answered all our questions and listened to exactly what we wanted. They even dropped off materials to paint prior because it was a window that we wouldn’t be able to reach. We absolutely love our beautiful new windows and are so pleased with the workmanship put into it. Don’t waste your time with other companies, you won’t be disappointed with weaver!Update in fall 2021: was cleaning some one of my windows that snaps out and down and broke a clip, called weaver and they came out and replaced it no questions asked! Super happy that I used them!!!

We chose Weaver Exterior Remodeling on the basis of their good reputation and after speaking with a few of their customers in and around our neighborhood who were very pleased with the outcome of the installations and with their good customer service.The initial meeting with Weaver was very informative and left us with a good feeling that we had made the right choice. The initial measurements for all 14 windows and new entry door system were done within a matter of hours (no easy feat). Once the terms and designs were agreed upon, the second set of measurements were done in a matter of days and the order was put into place.While the wait time for the windows and door did take several months due to the many manufacturing delays and shortage of product availability, when the first set of windows did arrive they scheduled installation immediately. The installer that they did send, John, was absolutely amazing and extremely skilled and knowledgeable in his profession. John installed 13 windows, complete with caulking and new trim within 3 days. When the last of the windows and new entryway door system finally arrived, we had requested John be here once again for the install of both and luckily for us he was. Weaver is indeed lucky to have such a skilled installer and hard worker on their team......thank you John!Contacts with the office/production staff, mainly Susan and Kim, were also very friendly, informative and professional. Both were always willing to help and offered a very assuring level of support recognizing how trying home renovations can be. This level of support also carried through following completion of the installations and we have no doubt that they will continue to be there for us should we have any issues or concerns in the future.We can easily recommend Weaver Exterior Remodeling without hesitation as you definitely be in good hands!

John was quick and efficient. We love our much needed new windows! He was very thorough with showing us all the ins and outs of how the windows operate. He was respectful of our home and making sure to clean up after himself after each visit. Thank you, Weaver and more specifically John!

Very good sales process and very good installation. The only issue preventing a 5 out of 5 rating for Weaver was a lack of effective and timely communications during a very long order date to actual delivery date time period. We realize and accept that there were many issues impacting delivery speed including all things COVID, labour shortages, material shortages, shipping problems, etc. These were unavoidable. However after paying a large deposit on the date of order we believe we could have expected and should have received regular updates from Weaver as we progressed through the very lengthy waiting period and especially that period following the first 16 weeks stipulated in the contract. Weaver's communications did improve considerably following a change in administration staff in May 2022.John was an awesome installer who took the time to really sweat those very important installation details that can potentially make or break a successful installation process.

They were very responsive to our questions throughout the entire process from the assessment, quote, and installation. Creating the quote I had many questions to stay in budget and Mike was very easy to talk to communicate back and forth with. Although supply and demand is tough currently, their estimates of installation was accurate. The installed product was done quickly and well, and looks amazing. See before/after photos.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the results with Weaver on the look of my 37 year old cottage on Georgian Bay. I had new high end gutters and fascia replacing my 30 year old ones. In addition I have a huge prow 26ft wide and 16ft high. I live right on the water where in November its not uncommon to get over 100km winds. Covering all the wood was a major task and would change the whole look of my place. I got several quotes and checked previous reviews. Weaver's competitors were not willing to take up the challenge of my prow and their quotes for just the gutters and fascia were higher for the same product. The Weaver rep gave me the confidence to go with this company. I was not disappointed. I am thoroughly happy with the result. They were on time, worked efficiently and were very precise in the detail of their work. If you are fussy about what to expect, then you won't be disappointed. Certainly great skillful work teams. I'm a happy customer.

Ordered a new front door from weaver. Despite the door taking forever to come in the 2 gentlemen who did my install made up for the poor customer service around ordering. Tyler and Clayton were amazing they got the job done quickly and effectively and I love the new door. Great job guys
